Sunday Currently - May 24 v.29

Happy May 2-4 weekend! Hope everyone had a great long weekend. Has it really been THAT LONG since I had a post? Slacking!! Between my job and workouts, seems like I can never get the minute to sit down and write a post, my bad. Here is this long weekend edition of TSC.

READING: Nice Is Just A Place In France - The Betches ... still don't know how I feel about this book. 

WRITING: This edition of TSC

LISTENING:  To the birds outside

GUILTY PLEASURE:  This week was a vanilla dip donut from Dunkin Donuts. I did last a whole two hours before eating it and that day, I really didn't care if it was on my meal plan or not. 

THINKING: Way too many things. 

NAIL COLOR: Nothing, as I have been so busy I just haven't had the time to sit down and do them

SMELLING: Nothing, getting over a cold .. in May?!

DRINK: Nothing right now, but my last drink was my Cellucor BCAA Watermelon flavor - on point!

FOOD:
 All I have had to eat today would be my oats and greek yogurt. I started a new meal plan and for being a picky eater, this plan is very easy to follow. The only thing I am having difficulty with, is trying to eat every 2-3 hours

HOPING: For an email to come in tomorrow with good news.

TV SHOW: Still working on Season 9 of Bones .. cannot get enough. 

WEARINGPajama pants and a hoodie

LOVING: The fact that I can sleep in tomorrow. Who doesn't love an unexpected day off?

WISH LIST: Some REAL nice weather that lasts longer than a day

NEEDING: To MAKE UP MY MIND!

BLESSING: Everyone and everything in my life

FEELING: Sore! Go hard or go home

Uh oh!

Just when you think that everything is going well and you like the "path" that you're on .. BOOM! .. Life comes in and says "ha, not so fast!" 

I have been having some mixed emotions/feelings on whether or not I want to stay here or go back to a ship. I'm loving the current job that I am in, however, part of me feels like I wasn't completely "done" with ship life yet. I miss meeting people from all over the world, seeing places of the world, doing things I probably would never do on my own, having friends there for you knocking at your cabin saying "get ready bitch, crew bar" when all you want to do is sleep. I really didn't think I would miss it this much. 

What do you guys think? Any thoughts?

Five on Friday

Finally, some time to stop and write a post! I am linking up with A Liz Adventures for this week's edition of FOF.




ONE
Some of you may or may not know that I am currently single and I had a very bad break up. Shortly thereafter, I decided to work for Carnival for almost two years and now, I'm home and ready to deal with what life throws at me. In the last two and a half months, I have been on two dates. One of them, horrible idea (and the world is A LOT smaller than we actually think it is!) and the second one, seemed to be a good idea at the time, and then a few weeks down the road, disappointment all over again. When my brother asked me why I wanted a boyfriend, I actually had to stop and think about that answer because the answer I gave "well it's nice to have a boyfriend" wasn't the right one, AT ALL. I think we get so caught up in trying to make something fit our life, when maybe it's not the right timing for it. You don't need a boyfriend to be happy and fill a void that may or may not be missing in your life. Maybe it's because when people know you're 26 and single, they think something is wrong with you. MAYBE, there is nothing wrong with me and I am tired of disappointment and I am actually OKAY with being on my own and focusing on my life for once. 


TWO
I have found my go-to bev at Starbucks. I have been doing really well the last month and a half with eating better and going to the gym, but sometimes, we just need a little cheat. Well, I was browsing healthier options at SB (because LBH, SB once a week is a MUST!) and I came across this beaut! I don't know how it's only 20 calories, and neither does my health nut of a brother. It is better known as the Blendicano, not on their regular menu, some Barista's know and some don't so if you decide to order it .. here are the words you need to use (I did not create this, fyi)
Quad Espresso, scoop of venti ice, 2-4 pumps of sugar free caramel or vanilla and blended. You'll thank me later! 



THREE
I finally finished Dark Places! Amazing book and if you love a good thriller with a little twist at the end, this is definitely your book. Well, to fill my hour break at work, I needed to get some new books. Which where the SB came in since it's in the Chapters anyways. I picked up Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn and Nice Is Just A Place In France. I started reading Nice Is Just A Place In France and I cannot stop laughing and I am only on page ten.
